Karuizawa is Japan's classic highland resort — misty forests, quiet lakes, and Mt. Asama on the horizon, just 66 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen. We are a local, licensed drone team. We film your pre-wedding session or proposal from the air in cinematic 4K, and we handle every permit. You don't need to bring a drone — and in Japan, you effectively can't (see why below).
A drone is the only camera that can hold you and the landscape in a single frame: the two of you on a ridge line, the forest opening around you, the mountains behind. It turns a photo session into a short film.
Japan requires every drone over 100g to be registered before arrival — the registration can't be completed after you land, and it requires documents most visitors don't have. City centers are no-fly zones without commercial permits. The practical answer: hire a licensed local operator. That's us.

We choose the location and file every flight application through DIPS 2.0 ourselves. Applications usually take 2–4 weeks, so please contact us about a month before your date.

We carry ¥100M liability insurance, hold a blanket MLIT flight permit (Tokyo Bureau Permit No. 4378), and are JUIDA-certified. Every DIPS 2.0 application is filed by us.
